was in 1885 and it now stretches from Starr Gate
at the south of the resort all the way through to Fleetwood, a lovely port area where you will find great shopping at Freeport Outlet Village or at the traditional indoor and outdoor markets.

Blackpool is also a great resort to use as a base to explore all the attractions that the Lake District has to offer, which is about an hour away. Manchester and Liverpool are also easily accessible by car or train.
