All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of deposit, and at the tariffs applicable according to the season. Different rates may apply with online agencies.
The person (now referred to as the Lead Customer) whose signature appears on the booking form or who has made the booking via the telephone or internet is the person who has entered into the Contract with The Windsor Carlton & it’s Proprietors.
A minimum deposit of 20% (minimum £20.00) of the total booking charge is required in advance. Online bookings pay a one night non refundable deposit. Please note there is a 1.5% charge per credit/debit card transaction.
No allowance can be made for meals not taken. Rooms will be ready for occupancy from 2.00pm and must be vacated by 10.30 am on day of departure. Failure to vacate room by 10.30am will incur a £10 an hour charge. The proprietors cannot be responsible for loss of guest’s property. Latest check in time is 10.00pm. Prior agreement with the proprietors must be sought to check in after this time.
The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a part to that contract cause any detriment to the well being or comfort of other guests and/or staff, or who causes damage to the hotel and its fixture and fittings. Any damage or costs that occur because of such behaviour will be recovered from the Lead Customer, who agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card if supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required this includes any legal expense incurred by the proprietors as a result of a guests actions. Damage to key/s or key/s broken in door lock will incur a charge of £10 for replacement key and £30 for locksmith callout charge.
It is illegal to smoke in any part of the accommodation and any person found to be doing so will be asked to leave and no refund will be given for the remainder of the stay. Additional charges for cleaning and damages, at the discretion of the proprietors, will be recovered from the Lead Customer, who agrees that such payment may be taken direct from the credit/debit card if supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required.
Strictly no takeaways in rooms. If dining room is open you may eat your takeaway in there. If not, please eat it outside. Additional charges for cleaning and damages, at the discretion of the proprietors, will be recovered from the Lead Customer, who agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card if supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required.
Deposits are not refundable. In the event of cancellation, amendment, curtailment or no show within 7 days of reservation, the Lead Customer will be liable to pay the total cost as per the reservation and furthermore agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card if supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required.
Lost keys are charged at £10.00 per set which, the Lead Customer agrees that such payments may be taken direct from the credit / debit card if supplied to pay the deposit, without any further permission being required. Items left by guests will incur a £10 administration charge on top of postage & packing if they are asked to be returned.
Accounts must be paid on arrival by cash or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard or Switch. Payments of accounts made by cheque will only be accepted 7 days prior to arrival. We are not obliged to offer a refund should the stay be cut short by the guests. We recommend adequate holiday insurance is obtained to cover any loss in the event of cancellation/curtailment. Conditions
Check In is from 14:00 to 10:30. Check Out is by 10:30. We are a non smoking accommodation. We can accommodate pets by prior arrangements. Children are welcome.
We cannot accept single sex parties greater than 4 people subject to proprietors discretion. We do not provide cots. We do not accommodate stag/hen parties.
